Manchester United take on Wolves tonight, without a win in the Premier League since the festive period.

While Erik ten Hag’s side have since won both of their FA Cup ties - against lower-tier opposition in Wigan and Newport - to act as something of a distraction, a defeat by Nottingham Forest and draw with Tottenham has left them sitting eighth in the table.

Such inconsistency has been their biggest problem this season and they will not have it easy against Wolves.

Gary O’Neil’s side really should have beaten them in the first game of the season and are surely looking for revenge following all the chaos of their Black Country derby win at West Brom on Sunday.

Here’s what you need to know:

The Wolves vs Man Utd live stream features two sides in contrasting veins of form, with the home team sure to fancy their chances of picking up all three points against a troubled Red Devils side.

After a tough start to the season that saw Wolves take just four points from their first six Premier League games, Gary O'Neil's side have lost only once in their last nine in all competitions, remaining unbeaten since Christmas Eve. Pedro Neto started his first game since October against Brighton last week, and while the winger couldn't help his side avoid their first goalless draw of the season, his creativity and goal threat will be much-needed in the absence of top-scorer Hwang Hee-chan, who's away with Korea at the Asian Cup.

Man Utd, meanwhile, continue to falter under Erik ten Hag. The Red Devils are on their worst run of Premier League form since the season started, winning just one of their last six encounters. There were glimmers of promise against Tottenham at Old Trafford earlier this month but they made it far too easy for Spurs to hit back for the draw. Since then, Man Utd have eased past Wigan in the FA Cup, but this visit to Molineux will be a much tougher assignment.

Joao Gomes is ruled out for Wolves through suspension, while Hwang Hee-chan and Boubacar Traore are both away on international duty. Pablo Sarabia may face a late fitness test, but Rayan Ait-Nouri is back.

For United, Marcus Rashford should return to the squad in the aftermath of missing the game at Newport having reported ill for training on Friday following an alleged night out in Belfast. Mason Mount, Anthony Martial, Victor Lindelof and Tyrell Malacia are all still injured and Aaron Wan-Bissaka is a doubt.

Andre Onana, meanwhile, is expected back in goal after Cameroon’s exit from the Africa Cup of Nations, though Sofyan Amrabat surely won't be back from AFCON in time following Morocco's shock elimination by South Africa on Tuesday.

Both sides picked up victories in their respective FA Cup fourth-round games at the weekend, as the Red Devils overcame Newport County 4-2 and Gary O'Neill's men defeated West Brom 2-0.

South Korea's Hwang Hee-chan and Mali's Boubacar Traore are still on international duty at the Asian Cup and Africa Cup of Nations, respectively while Joao Gomes is suspended for the tie.

However, Algeria's group stage exit from the AFCON means Rayan Ait-Nouri is available for selection here.

As Pablo Sarabia is doubtful due to a calf problem, Matheus Cunha should continue upfront, with Manchester City loanee Tommy Doyle expected to feature alongside Mario Lemina in the middle.

Sofyan Amrabat will remain unavailable for selection despite Morocco's elimination from the Africa Cup of Nations on Tuesday, but Andre Onana should return in goal after Cameroon's disappointing run at the AFCON.

Marcus Rashford and Aaron Wan-Bissaka are doubtful for the tie, with disciplinary action allegedly dropped against the former following a night out in Belfast.

Meanwhile, United boss Erik ten Hag will not be able to call upon the services of Mason Mount, Anthony Martial, Victor Lindelof and Tyrell Malacia on Thursday.

The Red Devils beat Gary O’Neil’s side in the first game of the season at Old Trafford but only thanks to a number of missed chances and a controversial call not to award the visitors a penalty.

Having pulled off some big results at home since, Wolves will feel confident against a United team who remain hugely inconsistent and are without a win in the Premier League since Boxing Day.

Erik ten Hag's side sealed a controversial 1-0 win in the reverse clash with Wolves denied a late penalty by VAR following a clear foul by United goal keeper Andre Onana. Ahead of this clash, both sides eased into the FA Cup Fifth Round last weekend, as Man United avoided a slip up at EFL League Two team Newport County and Wolves beat local rivals West Bromwich Albion.

Ten Hag will make a late call on whether to recall Marcus Rashford to the United squad after the England international missed the trip to Newport. Rashford's absence was initially explained by an illness but ten Hag has since confirmed he is dealing with the issue as an 'internal matter' at the club.

Gary O'Neil's outfit sit three points behind the Red Devils but boast a superior goal difference, and they will be eager to secure another big scalp on their own patch after beating Chelsea, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur at home this term.

Wolves, who are unbeaten in their last four Premier League fixtures, will also be out for revenge after being denied a stonewall penalty in their 1-0 defeat at Old Trafford in the reverse fixture on the opening weekend of the season.

After taking one step forward under Erik ten Hag last season, United have taken two steps back this term, and their whole campaign has been plagued by inconsistent form.

They have won just one of their last six league games and find themselves a long way off the pace in the race for Champions League qualification, so claiming all three points at Molineux is a must if they are to reignite their European hopes.

The Red Devils’ defeated Aston Villa over the festive period, only to follow that up with a miserable reverse at the hands of Nottingham Forest. Their only Premier League assignment so far this year saw Erik ten Hag’s side secure a 2-2 draw with Tottenham at Old Trafford.

Man United’s FA Cup commitments have also kept them pre-occupied with victories against Wigan and Newport County. Speaking of the FA Cup, Wolves come into Thursday’s meeting fresh off the back of overcoming fierce rivals West Brom in a fiery Black Country derby.

That result was the latest in a line of standout victories for Gary O’Neil and his side. Wolves are unbeaten since mid-December having racked up comprehensive wins against both Everton and Brentford, while they also managed to beat Chelsea.

Wolves are still without key forward Hwang-Hee Chan for the game. He is still dealing with a hip injury that has limited his contributions for South Korea at the Asia Cup.

Speaking of international commitments, Boubacar Traore is still out as he helps Ivory Coast at the African Cup of Nations. In better news, Wolves could have Joao Gomes and Pablo Sarabia back.

The latter has served his three-match ban for his red card in the third round FA Cup draw against Brentford. Sarabia, meanwhile, could return from a slight knock he picked up last week.

The Red Devils survived a late scare in south Wales to secure their passage to the fifth round, beating Newport County 4-2, but the game was overshadowed by Marcus Rashford's absence from the matchday squad.

Visitors Wolves will also be buoyed by their FA Cup victory, beating rivals West Brom at the Hawthorns despite ugly scenes towards the end of the encounter in the crowd.

Erik ten Hag's came out on top when these two sides met on the opening weekend of the season, though the Red Devils had the officials to thank after they failed to award Wolves a stoppage-time penalty after Andre Onana clattered Saša Kalajdžić inside the area after coming to claim a cross.

ten Hag faces a decision as to whether he integrates Rashford back into his matchday squad after missing the Red Devils' FA Cup victory over Newport County following a well-publicised night out in Belfast.

Antony replaced the 26-year-old at the weekend and scored the winning goal, meaning Rashford has a battle on his hands to start ahead of the Brazilian or Alejandro Garnacho at Molineux.
